Job: Uniquely identifies the job order for completing assemblies
Job Type: Standard  - To build assemblies using material, resources thru’ various operations as defined for the assembly routings..
Nonstandard • A discrete job for miscellaneous activities, such as Rework, service repair ,Upgrade etc
Accounting Class: Used to default various charge accounts (explained later). Job Status: Unreleased, Released or On Hold
Firm: Firming a discrete job prevents MRP from suggesting rescheduling and re-planning recommendations when changes to supply or demand occur.
